Concept: Fragrance is an artificially created and blended mixture with specific scents, utilizing natural and synthetic aromatic compounds. Fragrances used in daily chemicals are also known as daily chemical fragrances.

Composition: Fragrance is composed of at least several, or even dozens of, natural and synthetic aromatic raw materials, or complexes of organic compounds. The blending of fragrance may consist of the following components: ① Base: The main body that exhibits the characteristic scent type; ② Blender: Components aimed at harmonizing the scents of various ingredients; Modifier: Components that alter the style of the fragrance; ④ Fixative: It is inherently less volatile and can inhibit the volatility of other more volatile aromatic materials, slowing their evaporation; ⑤ Diluent: Appropriately dilutes the scent and serves to dissolve and dilute crystalline and resinous balsams. It should be odorless, stable, safe, and low-cost.

Properties: Colorless, pale yellow, or amber oily liquid. Daily chemical fragrances are mostly oil-soluble and can dissolve in aqueous formulations containing surfactants.

For aqueous formulations without surfactants, fragrance solubilizers can be used to enhance solubility.

Fragrance Types: Based on the scent theme, fragrances can be categorized into various main types and nuances: ① Floral Type: Scents that mimic the aromas of natural flowers; ② Aldehyde Type: A traditional scent type; ④ Fresh Type: A relatively novel and popular scent type; ④ Chypre Type: An important and distinctive type with rich and warm scents; ⑤ Oriental Type: Originating from the Arabian Peninsula, characterized by heavy, sweet aromas; Tobacco-Leather Type: Features mild leather and tobacco-like scents as the characteristic aroma of the fragrance; Fantasy Type: A classic non-floral scent type.

Applications: Perfume, cologne, shampoo, conditioner, hair treatment, tissue paper, wet wipes, shower gel, hand soap, cosmetics, toothpaste, floral water, soap, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, laundry liquid, fabric softener, air freshener, aromatic agent, insecticide, etc. Generally added at 0.05-0.3%.
