The IC card vertical water meter features a prepaid water fee function. Users pay the water fee to the management department, which then writes the purchased water volume into the IC card. The user inputs the information from the IC card into the smart water meter, and the smart water meter automatically opens the valve to supply water. During water usage, the microcontroller in the smart water meter automatically deducts the consumed water volume. When the purchased water volume is exhausted, the smart water meter automatically closes the valve to cut off the water supply, and the user must purchase water again to resume supply.

Maximum Permissible Error
a. The maximum permissible error in the lower flow range, from the minimum flow (inclusive) to below the transition flow, is ±5%.
b. The maximum permissible error in the higher flow range, from the transition flow (inclusive) to the maximum flow (inclusive), is ±2% for cold water meters and ±3% for hot water meters.
V. Installation
1. The installation of the water meter must comply with the installation requirements of GB/T 778.2.
2. The diameter of the water meter should be selected based on the diameter of the installation pipeline and the usual flow rate, which should be less than or close to the common flow of the water meter. The installation location should avoid direct sunlight, flooding, freezing, and contamination, and should facilitate disassembly, reading, and card swiping.
3. The water meter should be installed with the display facing upward on a vertical pipeline.
4. Before installing a new water meter, clear the pipeline of debris such as sand, stones, and hemp fibers to prevent malfunctions.
5. The arrow direction indicated on the water meter should align with the direction of water flow in the pipeline.
