Operation Process for Making Simulation Jade Molds
1. Preparation
Tools and Materials:
Liquid mold silicone (Agent A + Agent B), curing agent, electronic scale, mixing cup, release agent, brush, support frame (such as wooden board, acrylic board).
Prototype: Simulation jade sample (3D printed parts or natural jade models can be used).
Surface Treatment:
The prototype surface must be clean and dry. If there are depressions or holes, fill them with silicone or putty to ensure no oil stains or dust.

2. Silicone Mixing and Pouring
Ratio Mixing:
Measure Agent A, Agent B, and curing agent according to the manual ratio (e.g., silicone A:B=1:1, curing agent added at 2-3% of the total weight), pour into the mixing cup, and stir evenly for 5-10 minutes until no bubbles remain.
Bubble Removal:
Let the mixed silicone sit for 5-10 minutes for natural bubble dissipation, or place it in a vacuum machine for vacuuming (about 5 minutes) to avoid pores on the mold surface.
Pouring the Mold:
Fix the prototype inside the support frame and apply a release agent (such as Vaseline or a specialized release agent) to the bottom surface.
Slowly pour the silicone along the edge of the prototype, ensuring complete coverage with a thickness of 3-5mm (complex models can be appropriately thickened).
If increased mold strength is needed, insert gauze or fiber mesh into the silicone as a skeleton.

3. Curing and Demolding
Room Temperature Curing:
At an ambient temperature of 25°C, initial curing takes about 2-4 hours, with full curing in 24 hours. Heating can accelerate the process at lower temperatures (e.g., placing in a 60°C oven for 1 hour).
Demolding Operation:
After curing, gently peel along the edge of the mold to remove the prototype. For complex molds, use a blade to make a small cut to assist demolding, ensuring the mold remains intact.
4. Mold Trimming and Inspection
Trim mold edges with scissors and check if the internal texture is complete. If there are bubbles or defects, remake the mold.
Conduct a test mold: Pour resin or plaster, observe the simulation effect after curing, and adjust mold details.
