Relatively higher shrinkage rate: During the condensation cross-linking process, low molecular substances such as ethanol are produced, which cause volume shrinkage of the vulcanized rubber when expelled. The shrinkage rate is typically around 0.3%, making it less suitable for casting molds with extremely high dimensional accuracy requirements.
Poor resistance to high temperatures and aging: White liquid silicone is prone to degradation and aging when exposed to heat, significantly affecting its service life. Therefore, its stability in high-temperature environments is inferior to that of addition-type silicone.
