Solvent oil is one of the five major categories of petroleum products. It has a wide range of applications, with the largest consumption being paint solvent oil (commonly known as paint thinner), followed by solvent oils used in edible oils, printing inks, leather, pesticides, rubber, cosmetics, fragrances, electronic components, and more. Currently, there are about 400-500 types of solvents sold on the market, with solvent oils (hydrocarbon solvents, benzene compounds) accounting for about half.

Generally, solvent oils can be categorized into extraction solvent oils primarily used for extracting animal and vegetable oils such as soybean oil, rapeseed oil, peanut oil, and bone oil; rubber solvent oils used in rubber, shoe adhesive, tires, and other fields; paint solvent oils used in the paint and coating industries; and others such as cleaning solvent oils and ink solvent oils. According to the standard GB 1922-2006, solvent oils are classified based on their 98% distillation temperature or dry point. Common grades include: No. 70 aromatic solvent oil, No. 90 petroleum ether, No. 120 rubber solvent oil, No. 190 cleaning solvent oil, No. 200 paint solvent oil, and No. 260 special kerosene-type solvent. Additionally, there are No. 6 extraction solvent oil, aviation cleaning gasoline, No. 310 colored ink solvent oil, and agricultural locust eradication solvent oil. In reality, the varieties available on the market far exceed these, as manufacturers can produce solvent oils of various specifications based on customer needs.

D60 solvent oil is mainly used for cleaning hardware and plastic surfaces before baking paint, surface cleaning of precision instruments, shoe materials, printing machinery, rubber, packaging products, etc., as well as for the production and dilution of inks and adhesives. It offers fast evaporation, no residue, and does not harm the cleaned surfaces, especially packaging and painted surfaces. Produced from distillate oil through high-pressure hydrotreating at 130 KPA and subsequent fractionation, it features strong solvency, good volatility, high stability, low sulfur, low aromatic content, and is odorless. It is widely used in industrial cleaning agents, aerosol insecticides, paint thinners, adhesives, and other production industries.
