Uses of High Purity Methane Gas: Standard gas, calibration gas, solar cells, amorphous silicon films, raw material for the production of ethylene, hydrogen, synthetic ammonia, carbon black, methyl compounds, carbon disulfide, hydrogen cyanide, etc.
Physicochemical Properties of High Purity Methane Gas: Colorless, odorless, flammable gas. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether, benzene, toluene, etc. Relative vapor density (air=1): 0.6, saturated vapor pressure (kPa): 53.32 (-168.8°C).
Precautions for Methane Gas: Operate in a closed system with overall ventilation. Operators must receive specialized training and strictly adhere to operating procedures. It is recommended that operators wear anti-static work clothes. Keep away from fire and heat sources; smoking is strictly prohibited in the workplace.
