Forchlorfenuron is a phenylurea plant growth regulator with cytokinin activity, exhibiting a biological activity 10-100 times higher than that of 6-benzylaminopurine. It is widely used in agriculture, horticulture, and fruit cultivation. It can influence bud development, accelerate cell mitosis, promote cell enlargement and differentiation, and prevent the abscission of fruits and flowers, thereby promoting plant growth, early maturation, delaying the senescence of leaves in the later stages of crops, and increasing yield.
