Additional Information
Integral heavy wall drill pipe is of medium weight and similiar with the ordinary drill pipe, there are lengtherned joints at both ends. The raw material is AISI 4145HMOD alloy steel, the size is from 3-1/2” to 6-5/8”, and the process is executed as API7-1 standard strictly.It is usually between the drill collar and the drill pipe to prevent any abrupt changes of the drill string. When being used in the directional well, it can drill in a high speed with a low torque, so the attrition and fatigue failure of the drill pipe will be lower.
