Anti-Phenolic yellowing agent: APY

Components:

Sulphonic acid compound, anionic

Application Area:

Protective agent against the reaction products of phenolic substances and nitrogen oxides

responsible for the yellowing of all fibres, especially PA articles during storage

Properties：

- Clear, yellow, viscous liquid

- Specific gravity at 20 °C ca. 1.1 g/cm³

- Resistant to hardening substances and acids

- Has affinity for the fibre

- Prevents phenolic storage yellowing

- Hydrophilic properties

- Excellent wetting power

- Does not contribute to thermal yellowing

- No impairment of the light fastness

Application：

can be applied either by the exhaust method or by the pad process.

Discontinuous(in the last treatment bath)

pH value  3.5 – 4.5 with citric acid

15 – 20 min, the temperature 40° – 60°C.

Continuous 

20-40 ml/l  APY

3-5 ml/l    Citric acid

drying temperature 120° – 150°C
