Overview:

Pall ring packing is a new type of packing developed by improving upon the main shortcomings of Raschig rings. It features eight rectangular windows cut into the wall of a standard Raschig ring, with the window blades meeting at the center of the ring and the upper and lower layers of windows staggered. The key difference from Raschig rings lies in the rectangular windows on the side walls, where the window blades bend into the center of the ring. These openings significantly enhance the distribution of gas and liquid compared to Raschig rings, allowing for full utilization of the internal surface area.

Product Features:
Pall ring packing offers advantages such as high throughput, low resistance, high separation efficiency, and great operational flexibility. Under the same pressure drop, the processing capacity can be increased by more than 50% compared to Raschig rings. At the same processing capacity, the pressure drop can be reduced by half, and mass transfer efficiency can be improved by approximately 20%. Compared to Raschig rings, Pall rings feature higher production capacity, stronger resistance, and greater operational flexibility. Generally, at the same pressure drop, processing capacity can be 50%-100% higher than Raschig rings, while at the same processing capacity, pressure drop can be 50%-70% lower. Tower height can also be reduced, and Pall rings can save 20%-40% of packing volume compared to Raschig rings.

Application Range:
Suitable for use as contact packing in carbon dioxide degassing towers, ozone contact reaction towers, and other reaction towers.
