Diethylene Glycol Dibenzoate (DEGDB)

Yintian Diethylene Glycol Dibenzoate (DEGDB), as an alternative to phthalate plasticizers recommended by the European Union, is widely used in various applications due to its cost-effectiveness and eco-friendly properties. It is commonly applied in white latex, woodworking adhesives, panel bonding adhesives, paper packaging adhesives, PVC products (toys, elastic flooring, gloves, PVC dip-molded products, Teslin, water hoses, artificial leather, etc.), polyurethane elastomers, coatings, inks, and other plastic products such as artificial leather, footwear, films, flooring, soft/hard pipes, and cable materials. It also serves as an excellent high-temperature solvent with good plasticizing performance. In the textile auxiliaries industry, it is often used as a substitute for benzyl benzoate in applications such as dye carriers, leveling agents, high-temperature repair agents, and carriers. DEGDB offers advantages such as light color, mild odor, non-VOC properties, low residual odor on finished textiles, and it is not classified as a sensitizing fragrance.
DEGDB exhibits high solubility in PVC, effectively reducing processing and plasticizing time. After filler addition, it increases tensile strength by 20% and offers superior mechanical properties compared to DOP and DBP. Products made with DEGDB have a smooth and bright surface, stable mechanical properties, and good gloss. It improves flexibility, heat distortion resistance, softness, and adhesion of products. With high plasticizing efficiency, good compatibility, resistance to oxidation and volatilization, and inhibition of oil exudation, it is an ideal plasticizer.
International regulatory bodies for food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals consider DEGDB a safe plasticizer or additive for use in food-contact packaging materials.

Applications:
DEGDB has better compatibility with PVC resin than DOP and DBP, and a higher flash point than DOP. It is widely used in PVC plastic films, calendered artificial leather, plastic sandals, foam slippers, PVC cable materials, rubber shoe soles, foamed PVC shoe materials, rubber shoe materials, door/window and vehicle seals, PVC profiles, soft sheets, various soft/hard pipes, PVC shrink films, PVC twist films, PVC sheets, decorative materials, foamed hard boards, and all other products requiring plasticizers. DEGDB can fully replace phthalate plasticizers like DOP, DBP, and DHP in PVC products without altering processing conditions.

Storage and Transportation: Store in a cool, dry place, protected from heat, moisture, direct sunlight, and rain. Ensure waterproofing and sealing, and keep away from open flames. It is not classified as a hazardous material and can be transported as a general liquid.
