Yintian Dodecyl Alcohol Ester (Alcohol Ester-12) is an excellent and widely used film-forming additive. Its outstanding comprehensive cost-effectiveness, low toxicity, environmental friendliness, biodegradability, and non-VOC nature make it a stable and widely used film-forming additive in architectural coatings and water-based paints.

Alcohol Ester-12 is an excellent coalescing agent for latex paints and an effective film-forming additive for emulsions. Increasing the dosage gradually lowers the minimum film-forming temperature of the emulsion. It is particularly suitable for various emulsions, latex paints, adhesives, and other water-based systems synthesized from (meth)acrylate, styrene, and vinyl acetate. It offers excellent film-forming effects, storage stability, leveling properties, and improves film adhesion and gloss. It is widely used in emulsions, adhesives, architectural coatings, etc. It also serves as a slow-evaporating solvent and, due to its good balance, is widely used in products and fields such as inks, floor waxes, preservatives, synthetic ester intermediates, mineral processing agents, and petroleum exploration.

1. Alcohol Ester-12 improves the film-forming performance of latex paints, enhances the weather resistance, scrub resistance, cleanability, repairability, and color development of the paint film, and reduces the minimum film-forming temperature of latex paints.

2. Alcohol Ester-12 has a very low freezing point and does not require special handling in winter.

3. Ester Alcohol-12 has excellent hydrolysis stability and can be used with various emulsions, including high-pH pure acrylic emulsions.

4. When added to latex paint, Ester Alcohol-12 is absorbed onto emulsion particles, softening them and promoting better fusion during application. It is not absorbed into permeable substrates but effectively coalesces emulsion particles.

5. Ester Alcohol-12 is easily incorporated into emulsions and does not affect the stability of the paint or emulsion, even at higher concentrations.

6. Ester Alcohol-12 is a strong solvent for emulsion polymers.
