1. Mainly used as a polymerization inhibitor for vinyl monomers such as acrylonitrile, acrylic acid and its esters, methacrylic acid and its esters, etc. Its advantage is that it does not need to be removed before use and can directly participate in polymerization. It is also used in the synthesis of antioxidants, plasticizers, and food additives (BHA).

2. An important intermediate in the fine chemical industry for pharmaceuticals, fragrances, pesticides, etc.

3. Can be used as a polymerization inhibitor for vinyl plastic monomers, UV inhibitor, dye intermediate, antioxidant, plasticizer, etc.
