Pingpingjia is a non-ionic surfactant. It appears as a pale yellow liquid or milky paste-like solid. Its main component is polyoxyethylene fatty alcohol ether. It is soluble in water, ethanol, ethylene glycol, and other solvents. It remains stable in acidic and alkaline solutions as well as hard water. It exhibits excellent emulsifying, leveling, and dispersing properties.

Production Process of Pingpingjia: It is synthesized through the condensation reaction of higher alcohols and ethylene oxide using solid caustic soda as a catalyst, followed by neutralization and bleaching.

Applications of Pingpingjia: In the textile industry, it is used as a leveling agent, stripping agent, retarding agent, etc. It is also employed in synthetic fiber spinning oil agents, emulsifiers in the latex industry, and electroplating processes.
