1. The outer surface of the distribution box enclosure is coated with silver-gray powder paint. The flameproof joint surface of the explosion-proof distribution box is coated with 204-1 replacement anti-rust oil;
2. The clearance between live parts in the terminal compartment of the explosion-proof distribution box, with insulation material class II, shall be not less than 6mm, and the creepage distance shall be not less than 10mm;
3. The material of the explosion-proof distribution box enclosure is made of cast aluminum alloy with a magnesium content not exceeding 6% (by mass percentage);
4. The explosion-proof distribution box shall be equipped with internal and external grounding screws. The internal grounding screw size shall be not less than M6, and the external grounding screw size shall be not less than M8;
5. The enclosure of the explosion-proof distribution box shall have a clear, permanent raised mark "Ex" in a conspicuous location. "Ex" is the general symbol for explosion-proof, an abbreviation of the English word Explosion-proof. This mark indicates that the product is explosion-proof and can be used in specific hazardous locations;
6. The minimum width L and maximum gap ic of the flameproof joint surface of the explosion-proof distribution box, corresponding to the enclosure volume, shall comply with the provisions of Table 3 for Group IIB and Table 4 for Group IIC in GB3836.2-2000. The distance l from the fastening bolt holes on the joint surface to the inside of the enclosure shall comply with Clause 5.2.6 of GB3836.2-2000. The average surface roughness Ra of the joint surface shall not exceed 6.3μm;
7. The transparent part of the distribution box viewing window is directly bonded into the cover opening. The shortest path through the adhesive joint surface from the inside to the outside of the flameproof enclosure shall be not less than 10mm;
8. All ferrous metal components of the explosion-proof distribution box must have anti-rust treatment, and the surface shall show no coating peeling;
9. The operating handle of the explosion-proof distribution box must be flexible to operate, reliable in action, and shall have clear "ON" and "OFF" markings;
10. The distribution box shall be provided with a nameplate and a warning plate, made of brass plate or other chemically corrosion-resistant materials;
11. If maintenance is required, it must be performed using professional tools.
