Sweet wormwood (scientific name: Artemisia carvifolia) is an annual herb. The stem is erect, with many branches in the upper part and longitudinal ridges. The leaves are alternate, with the middle stem leaves being bipinnately divided into linear lobes. It blooms in summer, with hemispherical head-shaped inflorescences, numerous, arranged in a conical shape. The flowers are tubular, with female flowers on the outer layer and bisexual flowers on the inner layer.
