In national standards, the performance indicators of S235JR steel plate are equivalent to those of Q235B steel plate under the Chinese national standard GB/T 700-1988. Q235B steel plate also has a yield strength of 235 MPa, with similar chemical composition and mechanical properties to S235JR, making them interchangeable in many application scenarios.
