Online Grinding and Dispersing Machine

It is an intelligent device that integrates the functions of a colloid mill, disperser, and homogenizer, specifically designed for high-viscosity and hard-to-disperse materials, particularly excelling in the exfoliation and dispersion of nano-scale powders. Its core technology originates from the German Industry 4.0 concept. Through an innovative design of three-stage grinding + multi-stage shearing, it achieves dual breakthroughs in efficiency and precision in fields such as graphene, lithium batteries, pharmaceuticals, and food.

Working Principle: The grinding and dispersing machine is driven by an electric motor via belt transmission, which rotates the rotating teeth (or rotor) and the matching stationary teeth (or stator) at high speeds. The processed material, under its own weight or external pressure (generated by a pump), creates a downward spiral impact force. When passing through the gap between the colloid mill's stator and rotor (the gap is adjustable), the material is subjected to strong shear forces, friction, high-frequency vibrations, and other physical effects, effectively emulsifying, dispersing, and pulverizing the material to achieve ultra-fine grinding and emulsification.

This machine is particularly suitable for materials that require grinding, dispersion, emulsification, and homogenization in one step. We modified a three-stage high-shear homogenizing emulsifier by reducing the three stages to one and adding a colloid mill head above the emulsifier head. This allows the material to be refined by the colloid mill first and then dispersed, emulsified, and homogenized by the emulsifier. The colloid mill head can be replaced according to material requirements (we provide five types of emulsifier heads for customers to choose from: 2P, 2G, 4M, 6F, and 8SF).

It is a high-tech product combining a cone mill and a disperser.

The first stage features three levels of serrated protrusions and grooves with progressively increasing fineness. The stator can be adjusted infinitely to the desired distance from the rotor. Under enhanced fluid turbulence, the direction of the grooves can change at each level.

The second stage consists of the rotor and stator. The design of the dispersing head also well meets the needs of substances with different viscosities and particle sizes. The main difference between the inline stator and rotor (emulsifier head) and the batch machine's working head lies in the requirements for transportability. It is particularly important to note that the differences between coarse, medium, fine, and other types of working heads are not only in the arrangement of the rotor teeth but also in the geometric characteristics of the different working heads. The number of slots, slot width, and other geometric features can alter the functions of the stator and rotor working heads. Based on past practices and experience, the working head is selected to meet specific applications. In most cases, the machine's structure is inline.

1. The speed of 14,000 rpm is about 4-5 times higher than the approximately 2,900 rpm offered by other manufacturers.
2. The mill head structure is more precise and features a unique design, resulting in greater grinding force and better results.
3. The German-imported double mechanical seal has a unique structure and special materials, ensuring high-speed operation and a long service life.
4. The GMD2000/5 pilot grinding machine has a configuration basically identical to that of large-scale industrial inline mass production models. The types of working heads and corresponding linear speeds are the same. Process parameters during pilot testing do not need readjustment during industrialization, thereby reducing the risks associated with scaling up to industrial production.
